Is this the right oil? Something about oil foaming and killing the injectors.

Straight P50(Arctic) diesel, with no additives other than some 2 stroke oil once in a while. I have not had a fuel issue ever

I also added a bottle of Power Service Diesel Fuel Supplement. The stores here carry White, Grey and Red(Emergency) bottles. I've been using the White bottles because it says it prevents fuel gelling in cold weather.

Since Esso and Mobil combined their lines this side of the border, my old XD3 0W40 has turned into Mobil Delvac 1 ESP 0W40... I run it year round in everything, it plain old kicks *** and those crazy people that have nothing better to do than post about oil in forums seem to love the stuff.

Did you notice any difference with that 0w40? Spin quicker and quiet?

My '86 6.9L starts better than my PSD in cold weather. If I run fully synthetic oil in the PSD, it will start as well as the old IDI, but will puke fuel out of the fuel bowl. It doesn't matter what's in the IDI. The thing is a friggin' furnace. Lol.

Yes. It turns over much quicker, started right away with a smooth idle.
