Well it looks like the holidays are creeping up on us...

Take it easy out there Rich.

Not much going on here - worked the van hard over the weekend and it took all I could throw at it.

It was a decent day. The old girl (dent) ran like a champ. The pump still whines, but it sure is nice to be able to steer to the right AND left.

I also got the Halloween decorations taken down out side. The graveyard is packed away in the basement until next year.

I can move around better today. I just get sudden stabbing pains that about drop me to the floor. Other than that, I'm doing ok. This is the super slow time of year for hotrods. Everyone seems to put off major projects until after the holidays. It's got me thinking about getting a teaching certificate so I could teach high school shop. I think I'd like that. I can also picture me being like Fonzy when he tried it on Happy Days. What do you guys think?

I had a family member bring that same thought up to me, about teaching.
I don't deal well with "STUPID"... And I seem to attract those people.
Halloween decorations are put up here too. We did use the music/light controller, was a decent show, I'm just not much of a Halloween buff.
Here in a few weeks is the display I really get into. Lights everywhere! Come on Clark Griswold!

I know, Ches. I actually plan on TEACHING if I do this. Not just pass the 40 minutes or whatever the time is. The whole point to teaching is having the kids walk away with some sort of knowledge they didn't have before. Since shop doesn't fall in the MAP test bubble, I think I have a shot at getting that accomplished.

Lol, Bob. We'll see how I feel when the time comes. It's hard to climb a ladder in a wheel chair. For some reason this year I was contemplating upping the anti a little with the holiday deco. As I said, we'll see how I feel when the time comes.

So far I have a trailor borrowed, and thinking about heading to the K.C. area friday after Tim get's home from school to get the Escort. Still debation on letting Tim drive my truck (he can't drive a manual tranny) yet but he wants to learn. So I'm thinking it may just be easier to trailor it home. Then we'll get a few miles in on these Ozark hilly roads.
Friday is my mother's birthday, we may do a supprise saturday birthday breakfast for her.

Alan I tend to get a little carried away, so some say, I think not!
We do ad more every year, and this year will not be any different. You should swing by and see the place. We turn them on Thanksgiving night.NOT that far away.

Evening to all, busy day repacking and trying to lighten the load, and attempting to get a1000 other things done.

Morning all - up a bit early for a Wednesday, but the wife is dropping me off this morning to pick up the other car. All fixed up, so I should be good from here on out.

Don't lighten the load too much Rich - you may need some of that stuff.
