It seems to work well. I can still hear the wind outside the drivers door but the big dumbo ears err, mirrors are part of that problem. The only thing I noticed is that the doors are harder to close now. They require a bit more force. I'm sure that will subside a little as everything breaks in. The passenger side door doesn't seem to rattle as much anymore.

Hey Chris ... did Grumpsville call you back?

Busy week here. We had a consultant on site Mon, Tue, Wed to help us out with installing some new gear. We got into some discussions this morning and successfully pissed off the consultant. We were dealing with some fundamental issues that needed to be understood. It took up quite a bit of time, but at least we now understand the the freakin this operates and why it does things the way it does. A couple of my co-workers were not as caring about the issue as I was. Oh well ... to each his own.

Road Trip for work tomorrow. We're going up to talk to Scott County about some of their data center operations. Should be interesting. There is no agenda (at least not one that's been communicated to us).

'Night all ..
So far Grumpsville is on hold. We'll see how many people pester me before I get this caffeine going.

Hah, you're funny.

Why would you put something that smells that bad in your mouth just to say you did? How about I don't and say I did?

I am performing free or discounted operations. Would you like one?

Cory, you insert the tubing into the weatherstrip for each door to cut down on the wind noise. It gives the weatherstripping some shape like when it was new. This is the big piece that is on the body not the small strip on the bottom of the door.
We like things with shape and curves.

No thanks on the operation Chris, I'm good. I see that is on the '08 version. I am guessing the earlier weather strips are different, but still a good idea.

Yeah I agree pretty much the same considering the '08 uses the same doors as we have.

I am curious to ride in a truck that has this done casue I can't see where mine are that loud or my door rattles so it would be nice to hear the difference.

Your just getting old and hard of hearing Troy...

So you're saying there are varying levels of Lutefisk taste huh? That could bode ill for me.

That could be why I dont hear that stuff Jay or maybe the 5" straight pipe exhaust has something to do with why I don't hear the other stuff!

Yeah just like any food I guess........it's a matter of how it is prepared! Next time they are gonna have it here again I will let you know and you can come on out!
