Door lock

from what i've read in other threads, I think I've found my problem.

But I still don't know how to fix it.

My 92 driver side power lock doesn't make the door lock.
If I hit the lock button..the door actuator works..but the rod going down the door...doesn't go down and make the door lock.
I peeked in the door and compared it to the passenge side.

The actuator box isn't connected to the door itself...making the box just go up and sown in the door..but not the rod....problem found...

Solution...getting it back onto the door....I'm guessing the bottom rivet is the one w/ the plastic tabs for it...but I don't what to do from here

Door lock

My '92 had the exact same problem...solenoid came loose from the inside of the door. I used two larger nylon cable ties and strapped it back into place...that was two years ago.
