Firestone Ride Rites for 09

I want to get rid of my Timbrens and put on some Ride Rites. Does anyone know if the fifth wheel setup will work on a truck without a fifth wheel hitch? This would be Kit #2450 (use with fifth wheel) instead of 2452 (use without fifth wheel).

I want to be able to use a fifth wheel if needed in the future.

Thanks...

I'm not completely sure if you can with Firestones products or not.

Here is a link to each manual though, you may be able to determine whether or not the kit for fifth wheel would work without the hitch.

2452

2450

We offer kits for your vehicle as well, and have confirmed with our technical group that either of our kits would most certainly work without a fifth wheel hitch. Kits 57397 for 2WD and 57398 for 4WD are both designed specifically for trucks with fifth wheel hitch's. Both kits are for the 05-10 F250's and F350's.

Also, if you are interested in running an air management system we are currently offering a $100 rebate when purchased with one of our kits.

I have the 2450's on mine. I also have a 5th wheel hitch. Works great.

I went onto the website and they are listing just the 2452 according to the application guide so verify. My reciept actually indicates 2452.

I don't have the factory up fitters so I would have to add one. I can deal with adding air. I normally have a compressor with me anyways. Let me talk myself out of it

Just to add to my original post here are links to the manuals of each kit we offer:

57397 for 2wd

57398 for 4wd

Sorry for not posting these links originally, we recently redesigned the brackets for easier install and the manuals had not been made available online yet.
