Since it has gotten into the 30s here at night my scangauge wont show any x-gauges till it warms up abit. I wanted to check a few things out right at startup so I would turn on the SG before I would turn the key, no X-gauges would work. What was odd is that the preprogrammed gauges would work right out of the shoot.
I tried to reset the SG to manufacture settings and still nothing. this only happened 2 times so IDK. All I do know is that when the Cab of the truck would start to warm up then the SG would work
Has any of you guys had anything like this happen as it gotten cold out
Not at all. I have had a time or two when the Xgauges would not come on. Had to pull the plug on it, and let it sit for a minute or so, then plugged back in, turned key on and they appeared again. Haven't had this happen in some time now.
I've had those problems before, at times I would do the same thing turn the SG II on while I was getting ready to crank to check some items, then after I cranked my SGII wouldn't show up any more. At times what I would do would shut the engine off let the SGII turn it self off then cool down for a moment. Then I would try again sometimes it wouldn't turn it self on automaticly after i cranked so I turned it on and it worked. Then at times i would just drive to work with the xguages not working then get to work turn the truck off then when I leave work it was working correctly.

Had the same problem this morning, temp was in the 50's here. My fWt was like 130's and EOT was in the 60's when I noticed it. I went to settings to make sure it was on CANSF (and it was) and when I went back to guage EOT was blank and so was FMP. Tried unplugging and plugging back in but nothing. Interesting thing is TFT was reading ok even though that is from an XGUAGE.
Wonder if we should contact Scanguage about this. My unit was just upgraded so maybe its their software
We need an accessory for our accessory. The ScanGauge warmer! Plugs into the cigarette lighter and ensures your scan gauge is always up to temp and ready to rock when you are! ($29.95 + p&h)
Was in the 20s here this weekend when I started the truck it was in the low 30s and I had no problem with the scangauge it came on as soon as the truck started.

Yes mine will come on and stuff it will even show the x-gauges
Its just when its first started and cold if I CHANGE to a diffrent x-gauge to veiw I had Issues
Mine is doing the same thing Benny. If I swap the xgauge then all xgauges go blank momentarily. I went through all 10 or so I have programmed in and for some odd reason VGT was only one that showed constantly without the momentary delay.
