Front V code springs: Part #2C3Z-5310-HA
Is this part # good for driver side and passenger side?
Will it be compatible on a 2003 X Eddie Bauer V10 4x4?
How much higher will it raise the front wheels?
When upgrading to the ranchos, should I get the one for 0 lift or 4 " lift?
The way the X is currently set up, I can feel every imperfection on the road.
Will a new steering stabilizer from Rancho help as well?
Also need to find out if the V codes will de a direct fit or mods are required. The shop I am going to take it to will do it unless there are any mods required.
I see that you decided to go with the bilstein shocks and it was recomended to keep it that way. Do you know in what way the bilstein are better than the ranchos?
I use this vehicle as a daily driver but do take it on desert trails which are sometime rough with rocks etc.... As of now, no towing but will probably in the future.
I have Bilsteins on my Lightning, my Ex and my F250 so I'm happy with them but from reading all the good reports on the Rancho's, I bet I'd be happy with a set of those on my rigs too.
What should I expect if I only do the front springs and leave the rear ones as is. As of right now, I have about 38"1/4 from the ground to the front wheel well and 40" from ground to rear wheel well.
If I leave the rear as is, it will be almost level.
How does the B's with the 3.5" block affect the height of the rear and what are the benefits of doing the rear mod?
On the last picture I posted, Is that a steering stabilizer?
If so, why only 1 for the vehicle?
Does upgrading to a Rancho dual steering stabilizer really make a difference or should I just replace the stock one from Ford?
I'm running 35's and only need one stabilizer. Some times duals are for looks or to 'band-aid' a steering or suspension issue. Some trucks need them, especially with large wide tires.
If you go to a dual, try to relocate them above the axle (I've seen them on F250's). They're too dang low on our Ex's and catch lots of weeds, rocks, etc. Definitely put a boot on them for abrasion control. Sorry don't mean to stir up the 'boot' controversy. Wanes, I see that urs are mounted different. Ur Rod is mounted to the plate mine to the tire. Are mine backwards or that is just the way ford or factory ones are installed?
I swapped the ends on mine. Not sure it matters. I was hoping to miss a few more rock nicks offroad. One nick in the shiny rod and she'll leak like a sieve.
I have ranchos on my 2wd, even tho I bout them as 2wd I am not sure if that's what I have. I too feel every imperfection on the road and I have about 2 " from my bump stops. I might be switching to bilsteins
went to pick up my shocks and they didnt have them in stock. so I picked up the steering stabilizer from Rancho and installed it. Took it for a test drive and The steering wheel doesn't move left to right when I hit a bump, crack or pothole.

Rancho 9000 will be in by Wednesday at $89 each. Buy all 4 together and get $50 Off the purchase. Not bad...
Joe, what tires do you have and at what PSI?
When I replaced my tires with the BFG all terrain 285/75/16, discount tires had them at 80PSI. ridiculous. Felt like I was back in the marines riding in the back of an Amphibious Assault Vehicle.
Took em down to 56PSI and the change was dramatic.
