As for my "99", it gets Penzoil 5W-30 when it goes in for oil and air filter change every 10 - 12K miles. I am burning about 1 quart every 9,000 miles, and I top it off with whatever 5W-30 is on sale.
It has had 1 tranny flush in its life. I am on my 3rd set of spark plugs. Don't know about exhaust manifold but I will check. Have had two tie rods snap on front right wheel over the years, luckily they went just as I was parking, and not on the highway. I had to replace Drivers window motor recently at 360K. Other than that it has been wear items, tires, batteries, wind shield wipers, and alternator. My gas tank straps rotted through in September, and I replaced them two weeks before I got recall notice from FORD. But I brought the invoice from my shop to the dealer and FORD gave me a full reimbursement for parts and labor (Ford will have my business for life). Still working to get pictures up.

That is really good to hear your truck is running strong. I just rolled 119k on my 2002. I hope for many more happy miles for you.

I just had a head off of my 200K mile Expedition. Everything looked brand spanking new in there. Thanks due in part to my 3K to 5K oil change intervals I think. These engines are good for 500K plus - no doubt in my mind at all! As long as they are treated right imo.

215k on my 2001 4.6 SCAB. No issues so far but probably ready for the tranny to be serviced. I'm hoping I see 400k now that you guys have weighed in. Didn't know it would make it that far but I take great care of it and it should last a while longer.

I have 175K on my 01 Screw. Runs great but I need a new driver rocker and both cab corners. Spring project I guess.

My 1999 F-150 made 400,000 miles!!!!!!!

Still going strong in NH. My 1999 F-150 hit 400,000 miles on May 21, 2013.
I took a picture of odometer and will post once I figure out how to.
I am original owner, and it is original engine and transmission, neither of which have ever had and major work done on them. It has never been babied, lots of off road action and oil changes at 12K -15K miles if it was lucky!!
I love my FORD truck!!!

400k is great! Turned 240k on mine yesterday. I see from an earlier post that it was at 215k last March. Added another 25 thousand in those 14 months. Been on more trips to the mountains recently and I think that has been harder on the tranny. Everything else is running very well. Should have a quarter million miles by the end of the year at the current pace.

Well i ended up trading off my truck about a year ago at 407k. Blew out the head gasket on the back passenger side. Got more than a fair deal out of it considering its shape. The guy that got the truck replaced the head gasket flushed the transmission and fixed the broken bolts on the exhaust manifolds. Last time i saw him he had been using the truck as his daily driver ever since and currently has just shy of 440k! Gotta love your fords. I ended up with a 94 f 150 ex cab step side with a 5.0. Definitely miss the power of my 5.4 but with a rebuilt tranny and motor within the last 30k and mileage currently at 176k i should get years of dependable driving out of this one

Just turned 304k miles on my 97 F-150 4x4 4.6 auto. Everything works fine except the passenger's side fog light is burnt out haha. Rusty but trusty! And I am NOT gentle to it!
