Hi Guys, Here is the scoop...2007 F-150XL Automatic LWB.Cranked it up this am,and the yellow tire light was on. Checked all pressures, and all were about 4 pounds low.Aired up the Michelin,s to 35(recommended) and the light has not gone out.
I never knew the XL package has the TPWS.I am now wondering exactly how to reset the indicator.I have read that you have to go to the dealer....Is this true?
The wife,s Impala has a way to reset it through the radio.I have had to do that numerous times after rotations.....I have tools, and a nice warm garage, and not afraid to get dirty
Some once mentioned a drive of more than 20mph for more than 2 minutes to reset the light. Not sure how accurate that is though...and my 06 does not have TPMS so im worthless past this suggestion.
Great picture, but unless its "attached" somewhere other than the glove box,it aint happenin.I have heard that there is a way to "reset" the TPS monitors on each wheel with a magnet.....Or perhaps it WILL indeed just "go away" at some point soon?
I have had my tire light come on twice now. I checked the pressures and filled them to the proper psi and the light stayed on. A few drives later and it off.
