I know its been covered NUMEROUS times, but cant seem to find a definitive answer to it. i dont have a sprayer to use or anytrhing in that matter. My guess to the "gravity" part, is, crack the bleeders open, pump the brakes if need be, and watch fluid drain, adding new when MC gets low? Is this correct?
sweet!!!....i got beer. Wifes' at work, i've got PLENTY of time,..WHY NOT....
Hooking leak detector right now up, to see if by chance, thats whats causing that damn wind/corona- blowing your breathe over the neck of bottle commercial, sound...
BTW, do you crack open, 1 atta time, or all 4 at once..(bleeders that is).
What Rick says works great, I sucked the fluid out of the master cylinder with a bulb syringe & filled it with fresh brake fluid & cracked the bleeders open. Just keep an eye on the fluid level while you're doing it.

One at a time. Rear passenger 1st, rear drivers side 2nd, front passenger side 3rd and front drivers side last.
I've been known to have a couple beers open at the same time.
lol..that ur beer, then who's that..forgettaboutit, i'll drink them...
Found a "leak", suction side at inlet compressor housing, snugged it up, no more bubbles, and none anywhere on compressed side/after turbo....gonna do brakes, then take for a spin, hopefully it dont sound like a tugboat, docking.
If your a patient man, then this is the job for you...should've seen the concoction of tools used to completethis ordeal...shop-vac, hoses..etc, man, i made it a mess, but its done, 2-qts of Val syn. in the system. Reservoir looks like theres nothing in it, withthe fluid being as clear as it is. However, when bleeding, i noticed at all calipers, black chunky/fluid crap came out along with the brake fluid too?
for me, 2-qts/ 64oz, bud. I'm about 1/2in from "MAX" line too. They work GREAT, heck, the brake pedal senses i'm gonna step on it, it starts to brake..
Not sure if "gravity" bleed, is to watch it dribble out the line, and into the bottle? I gave that about 5minutes, and out came the shop-vac, hose to MC, to pressure system..etc. Think, a 6-pack, wouldnt have been enough..
BTW...not sure if pumping the brakes, with the hand while truck is off, but key is set on, but it managed to build enough pressure in the steering box assy, to push that fluid out the cap and also enogh pressure to pusg the fluid pass the steering box seal...
