hi miles ????
i am looking at a couple of trucks used a250& a350 both have the 6.0 in them, what would be considered hi mileage for this motor ?????

In general, once you get past 250k-300k your starting to reach the end of the expected life cycle for main bearings, lifters, timing gears and piston rings. But, a number isn't the end all with the 6.0L You could have a truck with 75k on it that someone has run a hot tune on it, never keep up with the oil changes/preventative maintenance and just basically abused it....if it makes 100k it would be amazing. On the other hand you could have a truck with 175k miles, taken care of...all PM done on time...basically not abused and it could live for another 200k miles. I'd pay more attention to the condition than the mileage. But that's just me.
