Radio bezel

What does everyone do to fit a cd deck into the dash bezel? I'm obviously going to have to cut the rectangle opening bigger in the steel, but what about the 2 screws holding the bezel on?

This is what I did. Of course I was correcting what someone else *crewed up. Later when I find a new bezel I think the trim around the stereo will hold the bezel down.

the sleeve that your head unit slides into has a lip around the outer edge and that will help hold your bezel in place.

make sure you install your bezel before putting the sleeve in. If you install the sleeve and then put the bezel on, the trim ring around the head unit probably wont do a good job of holding the bottom half of the bezel. Its just supposed to cover that lip of the sleeve, not support anything.

That does look quite nice! I have done a few of them and I just put a thin piece of metal (aluminum or steel) across the top , bottom and the one side if you can picture it, just more or less filling the openings above and below the deck and along the one side kind of like a big long C leaving an opening that just fits the sleeve, used little bolts like the one above. But with his you do not need an extra support for the back of the deck like I did...
