Keyless entry code

I just bought a 2006 Texas Edition F150 with key less entry but the instructions and assigned codes did not come with it. How do I find what the code is to operate the system?

The code can be found on a sticker mounted behind the back seat or on a door piler. Do a search on the 2004-2008 forum, I rember reading a past thread that had the exact location information in it.

On the 04, the Body Control Module is located on the rear cab bulkhead behind the seat. there is a sticker on it w/ a 5 digit number. That is is the factory code for the pushbuttons.

Enter the 5 digit factory code, then push the 1-2 button and locks will cycle
Enter your new code and locks will cycle again.

Just did it 3 days ago and worked like a champ.

The seat back is difficult to remove.
There is a thread about the removal with good instructions.
What thread I'm not sure of.

I took mine to Ford Dealer couple weeks after purchasing (I didn't buy it at Ford dealer). They plugged in the device, and gave me the code. Didn't charge me anything.
