soft brake whencoming to stop
I have a1999 Ranger some times when coming to a stop as I slow the brake pedal gets soft as though the anti lock brakes engage even if not needed. This does not always occure but does some times.

Do either, or both, Brake or ABS light come on when this happens? Did this problem gradually appear or did it happen all at once? Have your brakes been worked on recently? How many miles are on your truck?

Havent had any brake work done in a while pads and rotors are still good. No lights come on either. It has 105,000 miles and I bought it a year ago and has done it since I had it. It does not do it all the time and when it does it is as I am almost to a stop maybe the last 10 ft of the stop. Peddal goes soft and pulsates like abs, I thought about pulling the abs fuse to see if that helps or not.
