frame flex need some help

frame flex need some help
i have a 82 f250,it has a lot of frame flex at the crossmember.there looks like a bolt that bolts the farme to cross member,but i cant figur out how to get to it.it between the steering box and oil filter.

I believe it's half rivets and half bolts. Ladder frames by their very nature are flexy. You can use box tubing and make a brace for the front and rear frame horns to help reduce some of the flex. Keep in mind some of the flex you see is also due to lack of articulation in your suspension.
