installing a Tach
My 86 F250 didn't come with a tach so i got one to put in. I was wondering what are all the steps to installing it. I have a spot to mount it but need help on how to hook it up. I appreciate any help.

Is it a factory tach or aftermarket like Sunpro? On a Sunpro the red wire connects to a 12 volt circuit that is only on when the key switch is on. The green wire connects to the negative side of the coil. The black wire connects to ground and the white wire connects to the light circuit. Have a great day! Broncomule
