SLIGHT CLUNK???

SLIGHT CLUNK???
I have come to notice a slight clunk that sounds like it could be coming from the front end when I brake hard! 
Could I have a bad ball joint?
Truck steers great nice and straight no shakin and tire wear looks fine!

I'm no expert but seems like the first thing that's suspect when someone says clunk is the sway arm end link bushings. My truck has 285,000 on it and I just ordered a complete poly bushing set for it. I have clunks, squeaks, rattles, and groans so I'm changing them front to back.
There's a "how to" some where here in the forums for the end link bushings and you can get a whole sway arm bushing kit for about $40.
Will look for that "how to" and post if I find it.
