needed upgrade info

i have a 2001 4x4 v10 x , im wanting to do alot of upgrades. ive started on the front suspension, next is the rear part of it. my question is i want to upgrade the inside and the outter. is there a away to upgrade these things, that will fit to make the x look like a newer model? if so what truck would i have to find? and how much can i upgrade? ive read alot of post, but i want to be sure it will work before i jump into it, not quiet sure which truck to go with tho.
