I have an 06 and it has the quick disconnect style which I thought started in 05 and it take a special disconnect tool. But the fittings on the radiator that the lines plug into are screwed into the radiator. I have not tried removing them. I borrowed the special $40.00 plastic tool.

tyler check your coolant for tranny fluid. on the 05 and up you are suppose to disconnet them with a quick disconnect tool. you might have knocked that tranny cooler outta wack. thats what happend to me and i had to get a new radiator because i unscrewed it vs poping them out and the cooler fell down and i could never get it lined up.

Yepp...ya'll caught me....still have that damned green coolant.

That tranny thing did fall down into the radiator but I was able to get it right back where it was the first time.

I just didn't see how you would disconnect it without unscrewing the lines.

But I will check for tranny fluid in coolant.

and its so repitive I bet

Chezit can probably have an Oil Cooler changed out and back on the road in 3-4 hours then get paid for whatever hours the book calls for 8 hours or whatever

Being Experianced pays in this line of work
