Pass through wires

So I'm beginning to think that the search function is broken because I have yet to find anything with it. Or maybe I'm broken and I looked over it.

Where are the pass through wires inside the truck? I found the ones under the hood, super easy to get to, but I can't for the life of me find them inside the cab.

Above the brake pedal, IIRC.

Find the grommet with the four wires.

If memory from an old diagram serves correct, they should crammed down to the right behind the fuse box hidden amidst the steering linkage. They may be taped to an existing harness making them harder to visually locate as well.

I'll have to look there again. That's where I thought they would be, but I couldn't find them. I'm going to see if I have a mirror so I can look above as well

If they are there, then they are camouflaged very well. I busted all my knuckles and strained my neck and couldn't find squat!

Am I going to have to get up off my recliner and go outside and take a picture?

Then go to my darkroom develop it, dry it, scan it and then create a PDF ?

Upload the PDF into a folder titled "Firewall/Upfitters/Customer Access Wires" then attach the PDF to a post in this thread?

Are you sure you have an Excursion?

Haha yea! I'm about to give up on it for the night. I have a 2000 v10, and I don't see any wires (other than the harness that I made) between the brake and release handle. They all go way above it and I can't find wires taped to the harness anywherr

I even pulled up the Ford body builders publication, and all it says it that they are there. It doesn't say where.

Mine were towards the middle of the truck, basically straight down from the 4wd switch.

So right where the upfitters switches should be, but aren't.

Were they behind d that little black plastic trim piece or did you have to take the lower dash panel off to get to them?
