waste gate question

waste gate question

i have an half market waste gate on my truck and i was thinking can i just take it out and block the hole and leave the after marketexhaust housing? will this mess anything up or im i ok to do this?

the waste gate isn't hurting anything is it?

Sounds like extra work to me.

i really dont know why people install these lol maybe on a fleet vehicle and want power lower...i dont know

You could use it to limit boost and keep backpressure down while you spray the hell out of it with nitrous to make power. Same way WOP makes big power with the tiny turbo on their drag truck. Same for a few guys in the 600's on nitrous with a D66. Same for half the 6.4's in this world. LOL.

its not hard to take it off i dont think, or if i could adjust it for a little more boost would be nice im only gettin 15psi i plugged the lines on it tho
