Sheetmetal swap
Does anyone know if there are any differences under the skin of the 87-96 trucks? I just bought an 89 F-150 and want to do a swap to the 92-96 style nose. I know I'll need the fenders, lights, grille, bumper and hood but wondered about anything I may have missed like the radiator core support. I'm assuming it would be the same but you never know.

what you said, plus the core support, maybe cowl(where the wipers are). everything else but the interior of the cab is the same on these trucks. oh and dont forget that little metal piece uner the grille but above the bumper(cant for the life of me remember what its called right now).

yea, you will need the radiator core support too. i would try to find a 92-96 in a junkyard and take everything you could, take lots of ziploc bags and label stuff really well. i would get all the attaching hardware and shims. ive looked into this swap too, i think it would be an easy swap. the only thing i thought about gettin nonstock would be a billet grill and a cowl hood. but good luck
