Anyone got a good Ford dealer source to get the V code and B code springs at a good price. local dealer won't budge on price. Saw one in Ca. but shipping to Ohio pretty steep
I always recommend Ed at www.PartsGuyEd.com . He's got good prices and as a supporting vendor here at FTE, he posts often and is very helpful.
That being said, I know in this economy if a person can get a break on shipping for really heavy stuff like leaf springs, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. So finding a source closer to you would be preferable.
Since Ed is in Oregon and you're in Ohio, the shipping would be a ton for springs. Minnesota to Ohio would be a lot cheaper for you so try Tousley Ford Parts Depot
I would check your local 4x4 shops for a pair of good used ones. I just got my V fronts done and now working on the rear.
I tried to contact parts guy Ed with no luck. There was no phone # on the website, I registered to get the contact and sent email several days ago for what I was looking for and got no response. Maybe there's a better way to contact them?
Your PM's won't be active/available until you have 25 posts, so if you want the OP to email you, it's probably best if you post your addy in your post.
