Drag racin again
Got my old truck to the drag strip again. Last fall it did a 8.99 in the 1/8.
This year I had bigger headers & exhaust, 3.25 Trac-loc and Mickey Thompson drag radials among other changes.
Best pass was 8.42.
I was a half second quicker this year, my brother's 46 Ford was a full second quicker this time....he's gaining on me.

That is cool! Great to see these trucks in action. Maybe next year for me. Vintage vehicle season is just too short here in the Northwest. Ughhh!

lol.....I actually drove "normal" & figured the mileage back probably a year ago & got about 10mpg. It's just hard to drive it "normal".....
