Sorry if this is old news, I don't watch TV, but was laid up and forced into it. They show a commercial airliner with damaged nose gear. It's so damaged it would have happened during take off so you wonder how it got in the air to begin with. Supposedly the truck goes speeding down the runway and the plane puts it's nose gear in the speeding truck. All 16,000 + lbs at over 100mph. Come on, the truck would have disintegrated. I think any truck would have disingrated under those conditions.
Anyone with a room temperature IQ knows it's just an advertisement to get your attentio and not to be taken seriously...unless you also think professional " rasslin' " is on the up and up.
And you are correct, this is not at all possible with that size plane, due to the speeds involved--something close to 140 mph--and the weight. The plane depicted in the video, a B 727, has a static front wheel load of approx 16,000lbs, depending on model, and up to 29,000 lbs load under braking.
Considering landing speed for most airliners is around 160-180 mph, as their gear hits the tarmac............better hope Ferrari made the engine in that frontier.
