Hey all. I've posted on here before with questions and issues regarding my 85 F350. Well, I finally got the transmission back in and everything hooked back up properly. She moved under her own power for the first time in over a year last night! I still have some carburetor issues to straighten out as when I put the air cleaner on it seems to run richer than with it off (makes sense I guess) and I still have to get the windshield put back in and the exhaust installed. Other than that, she's almost ready to go.
With all that being said, it's on to the cosmetic stuff. The truck is a crew cab and I can't seem to find any rear doors. I've been trolling the junk yards and looking on line (LMC seems to only have up to the 250 and nothing in a crew cab). Does anyone know where I might be able to find rear doors for my project? I'll take new or gently used. Color doesn't matter as it's going to get blasted and repainted anyway. I'll post pics as soon as I get home tonight.
Thanks everyone for your help. You know who you are.
I don't know how things are, there in Iowa. But around here most all the vehicles were shredded and sold to China just before the export tariff.
Crew cabs are more often found as fleet vehicles.
Municipalities, Railroads, logging and oil drilling companies come to mind.
But I don't know of one that's got any 26 y.o. work trucks still on the books.
