axle swap
I have a 75 F250 highboy with an axle code D5 TA-LEP that I want to swap with my 78 F250 with an axle code D81A-SO. They are both geared 4:10. Will this work? Are there any issues I should know about? Or is this a standard swap?

As long as they are both 4:10's you should be fine. The width between the spring perch should be 32.5 inches center to center which did not change until the mid 80's when it went to 36.5 inches perch center to center.
