D60 Front Powertrax

Is there any reason a Powertrax unit from a Super Duty D60 wouldn't fit in a 79 D60 front? Found a good deal on a take-out unit.

just make sure the SD front axle is really a D60. a LOT of them are actually D50s

correct most pre 03's were Dana 50's.

Oh, I thought the D50s were only used in 99-00. Thanks for the tip. Doesn't specify which axle it came from in the ad, just from a Super Duty. I'll have to do some more investigating.
