Nice! Another oh-so-rare factory 4bbl 352. I'll bet the 6-banger needs a bit more than timing & valve adjustment. At least he's not asking a ton of money for them & is willing to negotiate. Hard to see what kind of shape they're really in in those little pics.
Hi Guys, I'm looking at going and checking this truck out and was wondering what you thought about it. I've never shopped for these and wondering if it's worth the time. I want to build a camper platform. Thanks alot

The truck needs a new passenger side brake hose in order to be driven.
That raises a huge red flag! Caveat Emptor ~ Let the buyer beware.
If it cannot be driven, you are only going by what the seller claims, and private sellers can lie just as well as used/new car dealers, lawyers...and politicians.
The rule of thumb is: Never believe one word a seller claims...and, since it cannot be driven, what condition is the engine, transmission, transfer case, front driving axle, rear axle, steering and etc in?
It can be a daily driver again for just a few bucks and a couple of hours of elbow grease.
Wanna bet? If it's sooo EZ to fix, why doesn't the seller do it? Potential buyers could then...test drive it.
How long does it take to replace a brake hose? 20 minutes or so...oughtta do it.
It has the wrong front bumper, the hood doesn't fit properly, prolly flew up at some point stretching the hinges.
I cannot tell what color the right fender is...is it green or blue? Has mis-matched side emblems, one on the R/F fender, t'other on the L/S cowl or the hood, hard to make out.
And, I would venture a guess that is has much more wrong with it...that is not visible in the pics.
Thank you very much for the great write up! I'll continue searching and not go and waste my time. Thanks again =)

Looks pretty solid from the pics. You would have to get up close and personal to check it for the usual rust areas. Check the cab floors for rust thru on both side. Check the front cab mounts and inside cab area steps. I would also give the rear cab cab corners inside and out a good look see for rust. Also I would check the rear of the bed at the bottom of the rear corners for rust. Just about any other place would be good to look for rust. If this is a V8 truck and still stock or original it should have a 352 cid motor. Check to make sure that the motor is a front motor mount comming off the front of the timing chain cover the rear should be comming off of either side of the bell housing with cross member under the bellhousing anything else is a cobbled up change out and be careful about that could be problems. As NumbersDummy can tell you many buy what is supposed to be a stock 61-66 4wd and it turns out it is anything but. So many problems the PO left the new buyer with that they end up in the pull and save eventually. If it is all there and not much rust probably worth what he is asking. One other thing to consider is the gearing in these truck is usually very low gearing probably a 4:56 or lower. Not very good for highway crusing. Motor will probably run at a very high rpm just to maintain 60 mph.
