The folks who decided to clean up the used 94 E150 I just bought cleaned the inside by hosing it down. Bad idea, since under the vinyl cargo liner is a fabric sound deadening pad. I just yanked the whole cargo liner out and dragged it to where it can dry in the sun.
I suppose I could just put it back in, but it's beat and I don't relish the idea of mouldy odors in my van.
Is there a good place to order Ford parts at a discount, or is there a good after market alternative?
The liner under the cab area/seats is going to have to be pulled out too.
you could also sand down the metal and put a generous coating of rhinoliner on it. it might be a little louder without the sound deadening material but youll have a great finish that will take a lot of abuse.
