Question 2000 Explorer XLS Fog Lights

Hello all.... Question for the experts out there. Does ANYONE out there know if Ford , or another vendor, makes color fog light covers. I purchased new 5500K (80W/100W) headlamps but the foglights are so dim compared to them I thought I would change the color of the foglights to red, glue or gold.

I also thought about looking for a higher K set of foglights, but most that I see have wattages over the 55W min. Another option would be colored H1 bulbs, but I can't find those either.

Any thoughts...

Have a GREAT DAY!!!

Just a thought- I seem to remember that these lights are pretty easy to remove, right? Why not buy a spray can of transparent red, transparent gold (whatever color you want), dis-assemble the lights and just spray the inside of the lens the color you want? Spraying the outside wouldn't hold up, but spraying the inside would get you the same effect for very little money.

Mike, it's illegal to have a red or blue light on the front, in many localities. I think yellow and orange would be OK. Might be a good idea to check your local laws before you go to a lot of trouble to tint the lens.....

Try going to a hobby store or maybe even a hardware store and get some glass paint. Amber would look nice.
