Hi new at this i was wondering if anyone new where i could get two rear fenders for my 1947 ford truck started to restore my truck. really can't seem to find any around and a front grill
Fiberglass versions of the fenders are available for your truck, assuming it's a half ton. There is a company called Pro's Pick that has them, amongst others. Try doing a Google search wtih 1947 Ford pickup rear fenders. Best I know, nobody is reproducing the fenders in steel.
There is also a fiberglass version of the front grille panel available from Midwest Early Ford. Again, I've yet to see anybody make this panel in steel, just fiberglass. I'm not sure how good either of these parts fit, however fiberglass usually does require a little work to fit correctly. If you prefer steel you can find the grille fairly easily on eBay, however the rear fenders are a bit more difficult to find in decent shape.
Good luck on your truck, feel free to keep us updated on your progress, we like hearing about user's projects.
