ok lets say i build a 6.9 with a .040 bore, 19.7-1 pistons, head studs, victor rienz head and intake gaskets, how much boost will it hold, the reason being is i found this on ebay
dont worry i have been in the fabrication business for 20 years, i can make all the up pipes, mounts, mounting base, all that stuff, i just noticed that the wastegate was set at 20 psi,
well all a 7.3 is, is a 6.9 bored over, not sure how much. but the 6.9 does have a thicker block id hope for 18lbs. idk...

Not sure if you got one of those turbo's or not but if you didn't don't. They are a cheap chinese knock off. There are alot of them on ebay being listed as holset turbo's and they are in know way close to being the same spec's or the same quality as a genuine holset turbo. Just some info for ya.
Second what 1stgen above said. Notice the ebay ad doesn't say it's a Holset turbo, the flange will FIT the T4 Holset is what it's saying. Nice play on words to keep them out of trouble.
I also made the mistake of buying one of those about 3 years ago and running it on my 1st Gen 12V back before I knew better. Ran good for a while. But after only having about 500 miles on it it was in need of a rebuild. Note turbo never saw more than 35psi and was always cooled down before shut down. It was a T3 model by the way.
