2100 Float Needle

Rebuilding my 2100, and the fitting that the float needle seats into is different. Should I clean and reuse the original and just use the new needle, or use the new one with no holes?

You'll be fine with either one, i believe the idea behind the seat w/holes is to eliminate, or at least lessen the chance for rust/debris to hang up the needle.

Either type is fine, but use the new one since it's brand new, fresh, and clean. Just make sure to check and set your float height, as this can change depending on the seating height of the needle seat.
