Anybody else get clobbered by the hail storm last Saturday night? My roof got wasted and my vehicles got it too. It looks like somebody went after them with a ball-peen hammer. We had hail that was the size of tennis ***** My '65 F100 has very tiny dimples on the hood and roof and my GMC Yukon has HUGE dents and broken glass and smashed trim Guess they don't make em like they used to!
Sorry you got hit... we were lucky on the south side of the DFW metroples... we didn't even have rain !
And Yes, you're right...
they don't make them like they used to... they're MUCH better !
What they do make is LARGER hail !!!!!
Some of it around the DFW area was in the 3 inch size... You ever been hit with a BASEBALL at 100+ MPH ?
You'd dent too !
Thank goodness for insurance - Try the paintless dent repair... I had REALLY good luck with it the last time...
I live in Carrollton. Since my garage is full of my TR3 and other stuff, my truck and car were under the carport. I went out during the storm and the roof was taking a pounding. Every thing seems to be ok though.

I live here in Abilene They started talking like we were going to get hail. I was getting a little hot under the collar because my bronco project has filled the one car garage from door to door. I am thankful the storm got nasty north of here. Feel sorry for you all though. Until I get our focus is sold I really don't want anything to do with these crazy storms.
Unless he had his New Yukon and Old Ford a good deal apart then they were subject to the same type of hail. Same size and speed for the most part. And comparing the damage mentioned under those conditions, I would say they don't make them like they use to. They make them worse in many ways. When he goes to fix the damage I'm sure he'll think so as well. Technology has advanced true, and that's a good thing. But they use to build them to last and be sturdy and strong and of the highest quality possible they could muster. Now it seems they make them so you can enjoy them for about 5 years and then you need to buy a new one. Disposable vehicles as I've heard it. But that's just my few cents.
