460 '76 Van RV Conversion
This might be in the wrong place, sorry if it is, just let me know where I need to repost...
OK, I have a 76 Ford Van RV conversion with a 460 under the hood. I just picked this up for a camping trip and I ran into a problem with it stalling when it got hot but it ran great cold or at night when the temp was 75 or below. I didn't think much of it, but today I was moving it around and ran into an issue where I drove it about 2 miles, shut it off and then it wouldn't start again after I got out of the store, maybe 30min. I jacked around with it for about another 20min and it fired up like there was never a problem. I know it's something electrical getting warm that must be causing both issues. So before I go randomly swapping things out, are there any known issues that I should look at first? The coil looks stock, old and rusty and sits right up front on top and that was my first guess but then I read about the ignition control module by the distributor that many have had issues with...
Any input would be great,
Thanks,
Delorian
