spending cash
in the past, Iv done all my guages myself however, last month I was in the process of moving from a bad area and my tool box was left in the bed for (literally) 45 minutes, and dont have the tools to do it anymore because some border jumper thought he needed them more than I...
Im doin boost pyro and trans.. I think I have a pyro sending unit laying around.. but lets say I need the sending units on the two also.
how much guys?
I have the Edge Evolution, it monitors my EGT's, EOT,ECT,Trans, boost, voltage...etc
I paid $250 for it. looks good, mounts to the dash, I just wish it read FICM voltage...
for about $150 you can get a scan gauge II which will monitor everything on the6.0 besides egts and fuel pressure.
just ordered 4 gauges, and the pod, and all the required sending units needed for $285 shipped. It'll be cheaper for you since you are inside lower 48. Use Promo code "autumn11" to get 10% off
Then do the blue spring upgrade, 6.4 banjo bolts...and an oil/fuel filter change. Should leave ya $200 to play with

didnt mean to offend ya david if I somehow did by agreeing with you & simply stating thats the first thing I recommend also...
and why bother with the trans temp if I have a scan guage?
A: I already own the guages. POST 5
now my question to you:
Q: why is it so hard to get someone to tell me how much an install would be for those 3 guages...
A: everyone wants to jump on someone and give their own .02, about some stuff that doesnt even matter to what the OP was asking about.
END RANT
sorry if I wasnt clear enough in the first post, like I already stated also.
at this point Ill just go and get it done, and hope I dont get screwed on a fair price by going in blind with no prior knowledge of what to expect.
Thanks guys!

Now, as to your question, I doubt that anybody here knows what a shop would charge to put in 2 gauges, as it's usually a DIY thing for car/truck enthusiasts. If they were to do a small job like that, it probably won't be cheap for what it is. It might even make you rethink it and convince you to replace some of your tools. I would recommend going to the regional forums for your area and seeing if anybody would help you out by lending tools or helping with the install. There I go again, giving my 2 cents...
