Exhaust questions...
Hey guys, i have a few questions, im looking at putting an exhaust on my truck and thinking about a 4" turbo down pipe back with a cat and muffler delete. Can anyone recommend a brand or a different idea? I can go in any direction, i was even thinking stacks at one point!
Should i keep the stock down pipe and replace from there back? And my last question is my truck is a 06 is that system stainless? I live in maryland so we use salt and if its not stainless now i do want it to be. And since i live here in MD i dont have to worry about any emmissoins for deleting the cat and muffler. Has anyone had a problem with deleting that stuff or is someone here in maryland to tell me more about it? thanks averyone in advanced!!!
Also my truck is completely stock as of now and just started to get some money to do a few odds and ends and figured while i dont have 3K to drop on head studs and EGR delete and coller upgrade the exhaust would be a good start and give it a bit of a bark.

Hey bud glad to hear from a fellow member close to me. I live in Pasadena/Glen Burnie area. If I find the time I would love to take you up on that, I'd love to hear your truck and see what it's like. Do you have your cat deleted also? Do you know of anyone who does head studs at a decent rate? Thanks again bud

Hey Bill.....I had the truck over at my son's today...he lives just off Tick Neck Rd. Near the Episcopal Church..... I did have the cat off but reinstalled it...too loud for this old fart.....AND still under ESP Warranty......
I had Apple Ford put my studs in.... but it was in for warranty head gaskets/egr and engine coolers.
Have you considered joining the State FTE Chapter......

I just installed mbrp xp series cat back and i love the sound and quality.i also have the cat delete no cab drone also.When u jump on her man she barks.Went with the six inch tip also.that kit comes with the 5 inch tip.

Wow really, pretty load is it? Yeah I live off of marley neck blvd in the new community tankard springs.
Do you think apple will just do head studs and gaskets? I'm going to get some quotes here soon. I was thinking md diesel performance and a place in harford county and in elkton.

Your name looks familiar...we are having a get-together in Annapolis on th 15th....drop into the MD Chapter and the info is there......
Give Apple a call.....I'd also call Bob Bell....they have a pretty good diesel tech there now. I thing the service tech joined the MD Chapter too.....

Hey Bud, I would love to unfortunately I'll be in OC for corvette week the 13th-16th. But I will keep it in mind for the future.
I called apple and awaiting to hear back from the guy who would do that sort of stuff and bob bell that's where I go now to get everything done cause it's so close to me but that told me to leave my truck alone and don't do a damn thing to it. I thought once you did the things that must be done it will be more reliable? Not sure why he told me to not do anything to it but oh well....
