Hello, I just purchased a 2012 F 250 6.2L V8 and have had a warning message in the "information" section of the lcd display. Can anyone tell me how to find out what this warning message is? The mechanics at the dealership where I purchased it are either idiots or they just have extremely poor communication skills cuz I asked them and never got an answer.
I have the typical TPMS issues from oversized tires but I don't believe they are connected. BTW, if anyone knows if the TPMS minimum air pressure reading can be reset, please let me know; it's actually quite annoying to hear the chimes at startup and see the light the whole time.
If it threw a code, then they should be able to pull it up. They probably just forgot to check it (unless that was their only task, then I'd go with the communication issue).
Any dealer with a knowledgeable mechanic can adjust the TPMS threshold on the new trucks. Some guys in the 6.7 forum have had this done by their dealers.
