I do love Waylon, but it's his love song cassette.... I can only play it once in awhile, before it drives me nuts!

I won't turn it down Chris! And it would probably make for a good excuse to finally get me to another GTG!

 

I do have it figured out where I need to switch radio stations. I can listen to 99.9 until I get off of I35. Then I switch to 98.1 out of St Cloud for the rest of the way. When I used to take a route through the cities, I had to change three times! Now that was just too much of a hassle... lol That was the reason I switched routes!

 

I see Jake's project for whenever he gets to a GTG. Maybe that'll be enough to get you down to one.

I think the transmission is moving up on the priority list around here. Katie mentioned tonight that we gotta get it fixed. Guess I'd better get the other bills paid so I can start saving for some tranny parts. I've only got 2 or 3 bills that need to get paid before I can start ordering parts. If we can watch our expenses and quit eating out, it won't take much time at all.

 

Yeah, I could justify a GTG appearance for a new radio!

 

LOL, I wish I had a CD player kicking around but I actually don't have any car decks hanging around. Amps and speakers, sure but no decks.

 

Well I'll just keep my eyes open and maybe I'll stumble upon something!

 

Keep an eye on Craigslist or Ebay. They're all over. Pawn shops are a good source, but kinda spendy for what you get.

I've got one, but the CD player is going out and there is no aux input on it. I was going to put it in our van, but I can't get the stupid factory radio out of it.

This is one of the things I miss about driving the truck. The radio/speakers are all nice. Got some nice Polk Audio speakers and a 10" Kicker sub from Circuit City for 1/2 price when they were going out of business. The head unit is actually an old one from around 2004. I bought it for my Grand Prix and put the factory radio back in it when I sold it.

Got the drywall all done downstairs, all painted too. Still got a little over half of the pine wall to put back up that that will go quick.

Also, Dave and Tom came up tonight and we got my truck back together. Just have to add oil and grease the u joints and it will be ready to go.

I found the amp cover I was looking for. Finally. Is it Friday yet?

 

Well lets just say I was given 3 possibilities and none of them were good. More tests tomorrow and an mri. Once I know what I have for sure I will let you know. I just hope he is wrong and I get a 4th option.
