In October, it seems to me, people begin thinking of Halloween and the coming Holidays.
*Ooh! Free candy and GOODIES...
I have noted that it's colder - and try as I did to get used to the merciless summer temps and humidity I now find myself wondering just how long my tomato plants have to go before they get turned under...
It's chilly in the morning - 48 at 10 AM just yesterday. I haven't been to the Lake in months, but I bet the water temp is down and the fish are retreating for a time to the depths.
I wonder how much more time my garden has left...
The local kids have long since gone back to school for the year - and I bet they hate it.
Staring out the windows during lessons as the rain comes down, just like I used to myself.
~Until their teachers accuse them of daydreaming

Wonderful day - I kicked myself out of my house to go look around and found my neighbor hip-deep in toyota four wheel drive axle...
I now know the locking hub system in Toyota's far better than I ever intended to.
I bet it's the same in Chevrolets...
I wonder if GM employs a full time swiss watch maker?
