Wouldn't a Ecoboost Escape be nice?

W-O-W, that 3.5L V-6 Ecoboost engine is sweet in the F-150! A transplant into a 2012 Escape would be even sweeter!

Yeah it would be cool. I was pretty surprised how fast my wifes 2010 v6 was just stock, so an ecoboost in that thing would be crazy.

Just the 3.7 with 305 hp would be plenty in the Escape and would easily keep up, if not be quicker, than the F-150 Ecoboost. Those extra 1500-2000 lbs in the F150 make a lot of difference.

2013 Escape will be all new, with choice of a 2.5 NA standard, 1.6 & 2.0 Ecoboost engines will be optional. This will be revealed at the LA auto show in a month.

Good call, the 2013 Escape will be an Ecoboost, just sort of a mini edition!
