Need a quick answer to a simple question please

After several weeks of waiting I am putting my head back on my 1968 F100 300 six and for the life of me I can not remember on the rocker nuts they have a normal flat side then a taperd side. Which side needs to be on the bottom against the rocker pivot half ball inside the top of the rocker?
I sincerly thank you.

Parts catalog pic is kinda vague, appears to show tapered side down-to rocker arm.

That's the way it is on 302/352/360/390's, so I would assume 240/300 would be the same.

If it has a pivot half ball flat side down on ball.
