I have a new HPX (from RiffRaff) that i am not going to use,decided to go another direction....FREE to the first person that answers this little math question.....
Lets say Clay,Jim,and John decide to go camping,they get to the lodge and they are charged $30.00 for the night, that would be $10.00 per person,they auntie up and go unpack..The little old lady really liked Clay,Jim and John and decided she over charged them,so she calls the grounds keeper in and gives him 5 one dollar bills to return to the great guys..He heads toward the cabin thinking,How am i going to split this up evenly..??he decides to put $2.00 in his pocket and give Clay,Jim and John $1.00 each back....
Clay,Jim and John got $1.00 back
question is----Clay,Jim and John ended up with $9.00 per person in the cabin,that is 9x3 =27, the grounds keeper kept $2.00 (27+2=29)
where is the other dollar???????/

You're not trying to find the 30 dollars - you're trying to find 25 dollars - Clay, Jim, and John paid 30, minus the 3 they got back ($1 each), minus the 2 in the ground keeper's pocket - you're not supposed to add them when he gives it back, it's still part of the same 30....

Congrats Schlepprock.
But I will say that I think Rufus had the correct answer first. Getting $1 back does not magically give each person in the cabin $9. It's a play on words to confuse you not a mathematical error. 9x3 does equal 27.. add 2 equals 29. Or maybe it's too much for my little brain to wrap around. I don't care either way, it was fun to watch.
