Hi,
My dad as an old 1967 F600 dump truck that he bought for 200$ a few years ago to work on his land (Not street legal). Last week he broke a few teeth on the ring gear. Now he's looking to replace it, but can't find a similar modele arround his place for parts.
Don't have a lot of info on it (and I'm 1000km from him), but I know that it's a 4 speed manual. No VIN numbers at all.
My questions are :
1- What kind of differential modeles could it have?
2- Parts from what year could he use?
3- Ratio that it could have?
4- An easy differential swap could be ? From what year?
I've been looking arround the web for info, and didn't find much....but I found you guys! Hope you can help!
can you get him to get a diff code from the axle? Cause there are many options in a F600for axles. Without a door tag or axle tag, its going to be hard, if not impossible, to tell you for sure what will work.

The VIN does not have the AXLE code listed within it, it's listed separately on the 2nd line of the Warranty Plate, located on the left door face below the latch.
FIVE different rear axles were available for these trucks. 4 or 5 speed trans doesn't make any difference.
1) Eaton model 13802 or 15201 two speed. The two speed switch attaches to the shift lever, has a red button.
2) Eaton model 16220-1 or 16802-3 two speed, also has the switch on the shift lever.
3) Rockwell model 1H170 single speed.
4) Timken model F106 single speed.
5) Eaton model 1614-15 single speed.
Swapping rear axles: If not the same, the rear driveshaft may have to be modified.
