I would stick with the SCT and I wouldn't do the a/m intake. I'm putting a whole lot more HP/TQ then you will be with just a tuner and I still have the stock intake.

If you are wanting to spend money then buy a scangauge 2 to monitor the engine , you need to check oil temps and water temps and it will check all kinds of stuff. If you bought this truck used then you really need to check your temps. And welcome to FTE

For the most part it's custom tuning. Now I think Power Hungry Performance can custom tune the Edge devices, but then it's not an Edge Evolution any more.

With regard to MPG. These are performance enhancing products. Get them for that reason, not with a main goal being MPG improvement. You might see an improvement, you might not. If you do...great. It's "gravy", but try not to expect it. You just might be disappointed with your purchase if you do.

It's called a gryphon and IIRC certain edge devices can be converted to it.

FWIW--I had a chance to have Bill live tune my truck and I drove some of his tuning. It's stellar and the transmission tuning is EXCELLENT. By far the best I've ever driven, and I've driven a lot of them.

I'd go with sct like everyone says, I have the edge evo with a lot more parts and I'm betting twx still has me beat. I'm getting a sct myself In the near future.

I'm in 24 hr. rep. detention so somebody rep this man for as true a statement as there is about tuners.

It's not about the tuning device it's about the man writing the tune. Bill from PHP can write custom tunes for either platform, its just that his Gryphon tuner is/was an Edge based device but it doesn't have Edge tuning.

I have the powermax turbo. Way to big of injectors for what I need (got a good deal), 4 in exhaust, edge evo (for now),studs and EGR delete. It ran 460 HP and just shy of 800 ft lbs to the tires two weeks ago. And my clutch has paid the price. Lol. New one coming in tomorrow and putting it in on Saturday.

That's right, your are the one with the 150% over stock fuel flow. I remember now.

It takes me awhile, but I eventually get there.

Yep, that's me. Working on the other stuff I need, but the clutch kinda takes precedence. Lol. Btw, how much torque are you putting down with 508 HP?
