I've lived in middle TN for quite sometime now, but I bought a 72 f100 Explorer Special this spring. It has a 351w and a c4, I stripped it down to bare metal, so if you live in the Hendersonville area you might have spotted me rolling around in half a truck.
One gallon of red tractor paint from Ace, $28 bucks, acetone from Home Depot $8 bucks, enamel hardener from Tractor Supply $15 bucks. Hearing your compressor sound like a bottle rocket priceless.
I blew a line in my compressor, had to buy sometime with my paint by sticking it in the freezer. I fixed the compress for free thanks to Volunteer Hose and Gasket. It turned out okay, I could have done a better job with the bondo, should have took more time guide coating, but hey I only paid $700 for the truck, and it cost me less than $75 to paint it.
Weclome aboard for clarksville; my wife grew up in Hendersonville; her brother & parents live there near old shackle island road area.
Maybe I catch out and about down there.
Again Welcome!
