Ignition woes. Please advise
Key simply wont turn in the ignition. I took off the steering column housing and the key holder. Nothing appears to be out of order. The steering wheel is straight ahead. The pin moves out when the key is inserted. The inner barrel of the ignition is not "frozen" there is a bit of play but something is clearly keeping the ignition from turning. It is in park. Anybody got any ideas?

more specifically the ignition lock cylinder wont turn.

Have you tried pulling the wheel hard to the left and tried it and then try to the right.
