Hi, i have a 1995 F-150 4x4 that id like to put a front light bar on, but cant find anything threw google seach, or seach on FTE.
The front bumper is the regular XLT chrome/valance. I have no problem taking off the valance or trimming the bumper some on the bottom if needed.
Im also putting a winch on the front, was thinking about a front hitch reciver?
My budget is alittle low (cant go for those $800+ bumpers), and im not looking for anything to extreame, but any ideas or information would be greatly helpful!
REALLY simple way Ive done to a few trucks is to take some scrap metal and weld up a pre-runner type bar and mount it up. Another thing I did was to take some angle iron and make a small lightbar out of that-it was totally free in my case.
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of it posted up but I am running a grill guard on my 96 F150. I mounted a pair of Hella 500 off road lights on the front. It's a "knock down" type design I bought through JC Whitney, I think they have a couple other choices for our bodystyle F-Series. For winch mounting I have receiver hitches front and rear. The rear one came off a truck at my local salvage yard, the front is homemade. I do believe there is a company that offers an aftermarket front hitch for the 92-96 F150s, I can't remember which one though. Hope this helps.
