im gonna upgrade to a 250 7.3 soon. tell me, if i micro tune it thru ken, will it be as quick as fast as my 5.4 with no chip. just wondering. its gonna be a crew cab short box. white of course. and what makes a gasoline engine faster then diesel? does posi make a difference. and why doesnt ford make that standard?
i read about the 6.0 in here from the chairman, thought that was dead. is that better or do u go with whats proven.

Ok lets see, the 250 wieghs a lot more than a 150, so right there, you would loose a bit.
Now a psd compared to a 5.4,, well, lets see, I have both, a STOCK 99psd and a CHIPPED 01 5.4,Of course tunning or chipping a 7.3 will gain you a lot more than doing the same with a 5.4, I still think I would pick my 5.4 to be quicker, but my psd to be faster.
my friends brother has a 2000 f150 2wd, std cab short bed 5.4. chipped with K&N and exhaust. I can outrun him with my SD. from a stop or rolling start, it doesn't matter. mine is a 2000 2wd supercab longbed. 54/78 chip is all I'm running. from a stop I can have 1- 1 1/2 lengths by 70mph. on the highway starting at 60 I'll have about 2- 2 1/2 lengths by 100. with the chip off he can walk all over me though
I've got an '02 psd with everything banks offers and I don't think there is a 150 on the road that can catch me through 100 UNLESS he has nitrous or something of that nature. Diesel kicks gas.
